Ohio is competing for $564-million of Federal stimulus dollars that are earmarked specifically and solely for passenger rail. And the Federal Rail Administration (FRA) is expected to make its decision in early 2010. Our proposal is to build out the 3-C corridor with passenger rail from Cincinnati to Dayton to Columbus to Cleveland.

Showing that our State wants rail will act as a meaningful reason for our Federal government to award Ohio its share of this stimulus.
